We are proud to announce that we raised £50,000 towards the establishment of The Sebastian Coe Charitable Foundation Award, a new fund to support the work of young researchers undertaking PSP work. The award will be international in scope, available to young researchers across the globe and will be announced at a special reception at the PSP International Symposium on 25th October 2018 at the Royal College of Physicians, London.
We are very grateful to Mr Ecclestone for giving up his valuable time to help the Foundation and thank you to all our guests and supporters for attending the event and giving so generously.
Progressive Supranuclear Palsy is a neurological degenerative disease and Seb has a personal motive in fundraising for the charity as his mother died from the condition in 2005. You can read more about PSPA and the work they do on their website https://www.pspassociation.org.uk/
