CRUK approached us in 2014 to partner with them to help raise money towards the building of the Francis Crick Institute in King’s Cross which is now completed and is already making significant breakthroughs in the treatment of disease as Europe’s biggest biomedical research facility.  As a small charity, we have learned so much from their fund-raising expertise and support.  We have raised over £550,000 during our partnership with CRUK.  Our partnership with CRUK comes to an end very soon and whilst we remain committed to supporting the PSP Association we are also looking for other worthwhile causes and charities to support. The Foundation plans to focus in the future on targeting support for specific initiatives fitting within our objectives to improve physical wellbeing of the nation through sport, health, education and science.

Strutt and Parker chose SCCF as their charity to support through 2016 and have raised over £200,000 towards CRUK and the Francis Crick Institute. Their regional offices across the length and breadth of the UK have raised this money through all sorts of charity challenges – the 3 Peak Challenge, the London Marathon, pub quizzes, fetes, sponsored walks, sponsored cycle rides and much more.  We are incredibly grateful to their enthusiasm and dedication to our cause.  We enjoyed celebrating the success of our partnership at a special reception in their Mayfair offices in June of this year.

Rontec very kindly raised money for SCCF and CRUK in 2016. All of their Esso branded stores supported us through the Pennies Digital Charity Box where their customers used Chip and Pin to pay by debit or credit card and were able to donate to our cause too.  We are very grateful to the generosity of Rontec customers.

We hosted the Sebastian Coe Charitable Foundation Polo Trophy in 2015 and 2016 at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club and enjoyed two fabulous afternoons of world class polo followed by a beautiful lunch overlooking the polo field and a successful fund-raising silent and live auction.
